Our founding story
Brixel Founded
Michael Wiedemann and Fabio Mosimann launched Brixel in 2016, a digital-first real estate agency in Switzerland. From day one, they experienced the pain of disconnected banks and agencies — and the need for real collaboration.
Building Our Own System
At Brixel, we built our own tools to connect agents, banks, and clients. This system quickly became the backbone of our operations. We called it "the Grid".
The Next Generation
We realized our system was bigger than Brixel. It proved collaboration could transform how transactions happen — so we decided to build the next-generation platform.
Gridwork Is Born
The internal system used at Brixel was rebuilt from scratch as Gridwork — a platform made for the whole industry, not just one agency.
Opening Up
Gridwork is now available in beta for selected agencies and banks, with a full launch planned in 2026. Our mission: empower agencies, banks, and clients with collaboration that just works.
